There are so many ways you can help us with our activities. Your donation will enrich the lives of those who come to our community’s home, in the entrance archway of the Ta”Z Shul grounds, and the homebound who we support.

We feel the need to connect with the Jewish World. It is difficult to bring in ‘Sholars in Residence’ for weekends and short seminars, however,  we have come upon the idea of creating ‘encounters’ for the community with students from over Europe, who have a level of Torah and Cultural knowledge that suits our needs. They would also help lead our Tefillah services and conduct one-to-one learning and Shiurim - and bring song and ‘ruach’ to our communal meetings.

We have had to halt our Meals on Wheels service temporarily, due to lack of funds. We believe that with minimum resources, we can fulfill this important calling in a more modest and basic way, but would dearly like to upgrade this service. Please consider this as a most fitting form of remembering your dear ones.

Torah learning is such a pleasure in our community. People have come back to their roots from many different parts of society and we are blessed with members of all ages and with many levels of knowledge. (We always have something on the table for people to eat, when there is a shiur)

Kids’ Treat-Package - a few tasty treats for our needy members

It’s not very easy to find kosher food in the stores here in Lvov, and we have people who come to our community center and synagogue, who find it hard sometimes to buy those little special treats we all love. So we at Turei Zahav often like to send people home  with a bag or two of fun things that are kosher and tasty!

It’s not only candy bars and chips! We give more basic foods that go a long way to making people feel a little bit more comfortable and cosy when they are at home.

So we came up with the idea that kids all over the world can make this special Mitzva their own - donating a little pocket money and helping people far away in another country.

We will send you a special thank you note with your name, which you can put up on your bedroom wall. Remember to send us your name (Especially your Hebrew Name)
